Old Monks

Fr. Lowry is out of pocket this week, so I thought I’d share a little morning inspiration.

Since we’ve been going on about non-attachment and asceticism, here’s a quote from some old monk (not necessarily the one in the painting) that I think sums it up pretty good:

True detachment is to love all things according to their worth.
